RocketWerkz is a studio founded by ex-Dayz creator Dean Hall who left Bohemia Interactive in 2014. Amongst several projects the studio have been working on, comes a previously unannounced project named Living Dark using Unreal Engine 4, which has now officially been unveiled with a trailer named ‘Making Weather’.
Living Dark’s new website also states:
“Fight for friends, factions or your own future, but survive at all costs in a society where justice is only for the powerful.
Explore dense, diverse open environments in a myriad of playstyles. Forge critical bonds then confront demanding choices – against the darkness of the city, your decisions make all the difference.
A neo-noir adventure driven by a procedural narrative, Living Dark is yours to define.”
With that, Living Dark is said to involve a procedurally generated system for generating storylines which will create multiple endings and narrative directions, where allegiances evolve and collapse based on your behavior within that world.
Creative director, Rashad Redic, who has also helped craft visual identity on such AAA titles as Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Crysis 3 also tweets that we should expect a new teaser every day this week at 12pm.
