Civilization VII

Out now; Arc of Tomorrow (free) and Earthrise (paid) due 2027

The seventh mainline Sid Meier's Civilization, led by Ed Beach at Firaxis. It splits each game into Ages (Antiquity, Exploration, Modern) and originally forced you to switch civilizations between them. That divisive idea was made optional in the free Test of Time update (May 2026). A free fourth Atomic Age, Arc of Tomorrow, and the first paid expansion, Earthrise, are due in 2027.
